Guy Feder Conductor

Born in Israel, 1974. In 2000 Feder graduated The Rubin Academy of Music & Dance in Jerusalem, under the supervision of Dr. Eugene Tzirlin, and received his B.Mus Diploma in orchestral conducting. In 1999 Feder received the Faculty Dean Award for his high academic achievements.
In 2004 Feder received a Diploma from the advanced conductors' class at The Royal Danish Music Academy in Copenhagen, where he studied under the supervision of Prof. Michel Tabachnik (Switzerland) and Prof. Frans Rasmussen (Denmark).
Following his outstanding achievements in his diploma examination Feder was awarded an additional year of funded studies (Debut year) which culminated in a public concert with The Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra (Sjaeland Sym. Orch.)
Besides performing the classical orchestral repertoire, Feder's other main interests & passions are for contemporary music and musical education.
Feder has conducted over a dozen of Israeli new pieces, including several world premiers and live radio broadcasts from the Jerusalem Music Center. Feder has also performed with the Danish Chamber players (Denmark), the Harmonia woodwind ensemble (Israel) , Ensemble Meitar (Israel), ensemble Musica Nova (Israel) and ensemble Suedama (New York).
Since 2001 Guy Feder is the musical director and conductor of the Kiryat Ono Music Conservatory (Israel)
Feder is also a recipient of The Israel-America Foundation scholarship for orchestra conducting (2000/1-2001/2), The Danish Government Scholarship (CIRIUS) and Theodore Alfred Christian artist Scholarship.
